Hi,

I purchased two types of clematis to grow on the 24" wide pillars of my porch (actually, the pillars are about 24" wide and narrow at the top). My intention is to plant a clematis on either side of each individual pillar. The clematis varieties that I purchased are Blue Ravine & Blue Light. My question is, how close is too close? Can I add another, later down the road? I have my eye on Gillian Blades - I love the white ruffled edges!
