Definitely out doors. You can bring it inside during summers for a day or two but it is best in shade outside.
And it can take some drying. But check with that nursery as they will help you in growing it in your area-ask them!!

I've had good success in growing maiden hair ferns indoors----but you have to provide humidity for them. I bought a plastic saucer for a much larger pot than the one my fern was planted in, put gravel in the bottom, filled the saucer to the top of the gravel with water, placed the potted fern on the top of the gravel so that it was not submerged in the water, and in that way provided adequate humidity for the fern during the dry winter indoors here in zone 5b.
