My sister used to make cookies when we were little that tasted like a mix between cake and cookies. She can't remember how she made them now of course, lol. We used to put food color in them and make different colored ones. I'll have to send her that recipe.

Kristy, They were called Gobs. My Mom used to make them every year for our family reunions & lots of times in between (since I was a scrawny little kid). I still make them. Email me if you want the recipe. I just looked at it & was trying to decide whether to make some for Christmas.
