I think that I might have that one!!! I bought it at Sanibel Island native nursery (many swap plants) couple of years ago, and I am 90% sure, that that was the name.
I am posting picture just so you can verify it. I can devide a nice chunk and trade with you for any other fern that I don't have.

I am so sorry that I didn't respond to your message. I had some stressful exams I was taking.
I saw these ferns growing in a bog in northern Ohio and they looked like nice plants to put in with my pitcher plants and bog orchids. I read somewhere that they can be aggressive, though.
I always worry about moving plants from the deep south to the north. Even though this species ranges over the entire eastern US, I wonder if the southern plants would be as hardy as the northern ones.
What are you looking to trade for?

VCF has alternate, instead of opposite pinnae and the pinnae are rather coarse, being deeply incised. Photo on link below. ID can be verified by checking the sori on the reverse of the fertile fronds. The are enlongated and lie parallel along the midvein of the pinnae. Cut and paste this URL for a photo.
