It's not a fern - it's asparagus.

Perhaps one of the tender houseplants known as Asparagus fern. There are several varieties available from two species, Protasparagus densiflorus and Protasparagus setaceus. Yours appears to be one of the latter species.
They are neither a fern or member of the edible Asparagus Family and are in the Lily Family.
Small white (or sometimes pink flowers) appear on the plant in late spring, followed by red or purple-black berries.
Natives of S. Africa, they are hardy only above 30°F (0°C).
Google the above listed species for images and see if any are a close match.

It looks like theres a lot of different kinds of Asparagus Ferns.. but it does look like a couple of them. Thanks for the help!

Hi, the up close pic kinda looks like MY asparagus fern, but heres what mine looks like from a distance, nothing like yours. The one thing they do have in common is the long shoot that comes up without any needles on it. I guess i didn't realize there were different kinds of AF's.

the kind the original poster has is also referred to as a plumosa fern (its still not a fern)... the fern in the last post is just a plain ole asparagus fern. There are several different kinds.
