Autumn fern can take the most sun, then ostrich, then Japanese painted. The color will fade from the autumn and japanese anyway. All should grow well in your zone. I think the japanese painted and ostrich might prefer a little more neutral. But, each are quite resiliant. They all like fairly good drainage.

Thanks houstopat! Now my only challenge is arranging them in pretty display in my front shade garden. Thank you so much! I thought they loved moisture, but i can work on the drainage.
