I've been transplanting moss from various places to carpet the garden. (with all of your help) I find that it developed TONS of weeds. So: If I plant Irish Moss between my stepping stones "on top" of the moss will it over-take the moss/weeds that are present?

Or: better to dig up the spaces and than place the new Irish Moss plants?

Kinda a dumb question; but ya never know! It says rapid growth. I also have patches of Liverwort which I love and want to keep; some of those patches even have some "clean,weed-free, moss intertwined" and it is loverly, I will keep it in tact also, planting around it and keeping the Irish Moss contained if I can succeed in it's growth.

It is 3:00 p.m. CST here now, and the garden is 1/4 shade.

So: dig out moss and replant new plants or just plant

over the moss that's there?????

I'll conquer this step stone weed/dirt/battle this season or bust!
