Pink Moss Growth

I live on 5 1/2 acres of mostly wooded property, with many ferns and mosses growing here naturally. I noticed a pink growth that looks something like coral growing out of a patch of moss that I've never seen before. I've been looking up moss, lichens, fungae, etc., and can't identify it. I live in southeast Mississippi, 35 miles north of the Gulf Coast.
It's actually sort of pretty -

I googled it , I think this is it :
Kingdom: Fungi
Class: Agaricomycetes
Phylum: Basidiomycota
Family: Clavariaceae

look up Clavaria zollingeri, it looks similar to yours.

Thank you SO much! That is indeed what it is. Some of the sites I read said that C. zollingeri only occurs in the northeastern U.S., but another site listed it, as well as Clavulina amethystinoides and Clavulina amethystina as being common in the south. We have had a record cold spring, so if C. zollingeri prefers cooler, northeastern-type weather, it would feel at home here now.
