So, feather moss... Is there but a single species of it, or are there many different species attributed to that name? Many different genuses?

I know the term merely describes the fern-like shape of the "fronds", but how many different species share that shape?

And, perhaps, specifically, what sort of moss do I have here, then? (I was an idiot and didn't think to take a picture of it before I put it in the pendant).

I found it growing in what I'm fairly sure is a mixed coniferous/deciduous forest, growing on soil.
