sounds like you have many ... cut half back.. and dont cut the others.. and find out for yourself .. i learned more thru experimenting .. than anywhere else ...

all that said .. i doubt you could kill them... except for the apparent lack of water ...

actually.. all that said [again???].. i would bet.. that if you went out there.. and just removed 3 to 5 of the worst frond per plant .. you might be surprised how much better the plants look overall .... its probably just the first ones out this spring .. that are battered ...

or just have an extra adult beverage or two.. until you cant see them out there.. and they stop bugging you.. lol .. and then the next day .. hungover and all ... get mad at them.. and do what you have to do .. there.. full circle .. from the start ... lol
