Peonies to us signal the beginning of market season. If a customer just has to have peonies for some nostalgic reason, then they usually schedule their event for June here in the Midwest.

The cut peony season in Holland usually starts at the end of March/early April, and cut peonies from New Zealand are available from the end of November through (roughly) the middle of February. I was just hoping someone knew of an alternative source for the "in-between" season.

One more thought; and, I realize it's getting close to deadline for you. Contact Judy Laushman, executive director of the ASCFG organization. She may be able to put out feelers for you. We haven't received the 2007 Buyer's Guide yet; however, she has all that information in her database.

I found them! They will be imported from Holland via a grower in Israel. I am anxious to see the quality, but the pictures look decent enough. I knew they were available somewhere.... :-)
