You're referring to the new Gaillardia from Plant Haven, St Clemens. Aren't they just the happiest looking little things? Apparently this is a new color breakthrough. It's supposed to be an improved upright. Gaillardia have a tendency to sprawl all over the place. Then, the stems are twisted, and nobody wants to harvest them. And, then DH gets out the tractor with the bushhog attached; and, we don't have to think about them any longer. This new one looks very promising. Oh, and it grows to 26 inches. This is really starting to sound good. The foliage is blue-green. And, it's available from a local Michigan vendor. To us this translates: No dreaded shipping costs. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I really have to stop because I am not going to be under budget much longer.
