Inducing Dormancy for Tiger Fern??

HELP!!!

My tiger fern, Nephrolepis exaltacta, is getting too big for my Greenhouse, and it will most likely die inside my house. Can I induce dormancy on it, and get it to regrow next spring like a hardy fern.

Next year, I will have a bigger GH, so I won't need to do this. I just don't want it to die, for I like it alot!

Would it be small enough if you just clipped all the fronds off and let them re-sprout? Would that keep it small enough until next year?

Do you think I could let it die back inside my house, and then would it sprout back when I put it back outside?
It is MASSIVE! Let me see if I have a picture of it...
