That's pretty much a weed in Florida, really likes the hot humid weather, and can handle very dry conditions. The wild kind is pink and orange clusters, but they sell an all yellow variety quite often. Which one do you have?

It will be interesting to hear how long you keep lantana looking well in a vase. This is a toxic plant and the berries are inviting. Lantana is on the market in luscious colors and color combinations.

It's so drought hardy that landscapers use it in center medians in full Texas sun. It handles exhaust fumes, concrete barriers, and full sun just fine. Bees love it. Have never tried it as a cut, but if it's working for you, hooray! I'll have to cut one of my blooms and see how it does.

It can get 3-4' tall & wide over a summer. Occassionally it can be perennial. There ARE all sorts of colors, even white. Yellow (gold) seems to be the fav down here.
