Did you soak the tubers before planting and did you plant the pointed sides down? What zone are you in? You might also try a post in the bulb forum, since activity on this forum is a bit sporadic. :)

I used to grown ranunculus in SoCal (zone 9-10) and sometimes they would take a few weeks to sprout in the fall, and it seemed they would not sprout til it had cooled off somewhat.

phlowerpower thank you for your response! I unfortunately did not soak them, because I didn't know that you could do that until after I put them into the ground. Yes, I did put them pointed side down. I am in zone 9 and since I planted the bulbs last week we had 100-110 degree weather until this week when it started to rain. So the weather was drastically different from one week to the next. They are in a spot where they get full sun all day and I wait until the soil is dry to water them, so maybe you're right and it will just take a few weeks~
