We recently moved into a house that has deer occasionally coming into the yard.

I planted some roses in containers for our deck.

Has anyone ever tried covering plants to prevent the deer from eating the plants?

I was thinking of covering the plants in the pots either with shade cloth at night, or if anyone can think of a more "permanent" solution, what would it be?
