Best plants for a slope?

What do you recommed?

I am putting in daylilies at the top, blue rug junipers at the middle and edging the the middle portion so I can mulch the middle section to the top section of the hill and below that I can mow easily. The hill is only 4' tall with a run of about 5' to 6'.

Any other thoughts, recommendations?
