crepe myrtle transplanting

In April, I transplanted 8 dwarf crepes from shady clay soil to a sunny enriched soil including, enriched topsoil, pine mulch and peat moss. The largest plant died immediately. Only 2 appear to be healthy. What can I do to save the others. I used a root stimulator when I transplanted them. They've been watered regularly.

I use Maxicrop's liquid seaweed religiously when I transplant anything. I'm sure there are other comparible products. It is a foliar feed that works wonders on plants that are going through shock.
