Container Grown Pawpaws (how deep?)

I recently got access to some beautiful pawpaws, but I may be moving out of my current house in about a year or so. As such, I didn't want to plant them in the ground.

I had read that container growing was viable, and much of what I read said that I just needed to make sure to get a deep container.

However, nothing ever mentioned just *how* deep it needed to get. At the moment, they're in 15 gallon containers, I'm curious about how much more room I should provide them. I realize the optimal answer is, "As much as possible," but I thought I'd poke out here to get some specifics from other peoples' experiences.

Thanks much!
