I bought a male and female kiwi last year. This year I have flowers but I'm doubting the sex of the female. I took pictures but I don't know how to post them to this forum. The female has flowers that have an obvious ovary (with red spot) at the base but no obvious long white carpals. It looks to have yellow stamens that are smaller than the stamens on the obvious male.

The male is not doing well. He took some stress after a heavy rainfall and is weak but not dead. I've taken some male flowers and tried hand pollinating some "female" flowers.

This is my first experience with kiwi so any help is appreciated. BTW... they are in large pots on the patio so I moved them back so that I am controlling the water now.
