I haven't heard of them before, but hopefully someone here can give you some tips.

Never heard of them but I checked out their site out of curiosity. One thing consumer advocates say to look for on a website is an actual physical address, not available. I also am weary that you can't even see a price until you put something in your cart. The brands they list are good ones, however they could be selling seconds. Some manufacturer seconds are really not that bad, but you could get some that are not quite the right size, thickness or color. I plugged in some stuff and honestly don't think the prices are that great (I sell tile so I feel I am a pretty good judge). If it doesn't feel right I would shop around, gotta trust your gut sometimes. Good luck!

I purchased $2200 worth of tile from them over a month ago. They charged my credit card immediately and promised 7-10 day delivery. I called three weeks later to see where my tile was and Roman said it was on a rail car that got detained in Texas and should be here the next Monday or Tuesday. That was 10 days ago. Still no tile. When you talk to Roman on the phone he sounds just like "Peggy". I think I have been "Bobby Bowdened" but "I'm not too old to find you son".

Sorry to hear that. I have heard of railcars coming out of Mexico getting held up because they are bringing up additional "products" *ahem*. Keep on them to get some resolution, good luck!

I am curious if Keithbyman from the comments above ever received his tile? I ordered tile from PPL approx. 3 weeks ago and I am getting the same rail delay story from Roman.
Never saw a single tile. Thanks to VISA I promptly got all my money ($2000+) back. Just a big waste of time. If you believe in God like I do, you know there is a special place in hell for people like Roman (aka Peggy).
I never got my tile either; first delayed on the train, then they said the tiles were damaged in shipment. This was after I stayed home from work to receive the shipment two days in a row!!! I did get my money back but it was a total waste of time, I can't figure out their angle, if it is a way to get people's credit card details for later scams?? BEWARE>BEWARE>BEWARE!!!!!!!

I researched ppl tile too when we were ordering materials for a remodeling project. I saw WAY too many people posting the same thing as keithbyman and tucquan. I'd steer clear of them!
I too was a little concerned about ordering from them, but for some reason they were the only company i could find with the tile that i wanted (6x24 ceramic beadboard tile). I called before ordering to make sure a person answered and spoke to a man with a strong accent. He told me that that tile would take 7-10 days for delivery so I went ahead and ordered it, using my credit card with fraud as protection in case the order never arrived. My order arrived in about 12-14 days, and looked good so far. Hopefully there is no other motives behind the order.

We ordered almost 3 weeks ago, getting the same rail delay story as everyone else. We called the bank to initiate a dispute on the charges but figured we would give them a couple more days. After reading this thread, I was ready to go ahead with the dispute until I read dysebes's comment that they did end up receiving their tile. Last time I spoke with Roman he said it would be here in less than a week.
I was also trying to figure out what Roman (aka Peggy) had to gain from taking people's money but having to give it back through credit card company reversals. Guess what, a few weeks ago our credit card started having bogus transactions. We ended up having to cancel the card and get new ones. What a hassle that was with all the automatic payments I had to change. Tucquan has probably figured out the angle.
We went ahead and disputed the charges, sure hope we can get our $2,000 back! Thanks to everyone posting here. We're going to go ahead and let the bank know to cancel our card because of your last comment Keith, THANKS!!!

We did end up receiving our tile and it looks good. Roman is refunding our shipping fee because of the delay.
We did NOT end up getting nearly $7500 of tile after 3-month delay. Reportedly, the local delivery firm refused the shipment because of missing pallets and broken tiles. We were promised a refund within 72 hours - it has been 8 days. Occasionally, we reach Roman by phone and he continues to say he will "look in to it". We have yet to have a single call returned. The company address on invoices I have seen are a private home in PA. The phone number is LA. The internet server sight is Houston. We have begun the process of reporting this firm to the FTC and other relevant authorities. If this, hypothetically, were a fraudulent company, it is interesting they would stay in business. Someone who isn't me might wonder if the strategy of using funds for months and then returning it after "rail delays in Texas" is intentional and serves some nefarious purpose. Our home construction project was critically delayed as a result of this company's misinformation and incompetence.

I also have been a victim of PPL tile. I ordered $1700 worth of tile on 3/23/13, and did not recieve the shipment until 5/2/13. Half of the order was missing. One complete box of 20 x 20 floor tile was broken in half. I have spoken with Roman almost 20 times since the beggining of the order. Same story, shipment started in California, then to Chicago and held up at the warehouse. I constanly call Roman and he does not call back. He does have caller ID however, and when I called him from a different number he then called back. He said he would refund my order for what was not shipped, and refund the shipping costs. To this date he has not refunded my money. I have a claim with my credit card company against him. Please stay far away from this company (If you can call it that) as possible. I don't know if this is a scam to obtain credit card info, or just plain stupidity, and disorganiation. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase any merchandise from them!

I ordered from them last November and received everything as promised. Fast forward April 2013, I placed another order and I got the rail car in texas story, shipping company issues, phone system was down and others, eventually it progressed to a pomised delivery of May 13th. On May 11th they emailed the shippment was damaged and they atttached a PDF credit memo marked refunded. Almost 30 days later and the refund has yet to be processed by them...A MasterCard dispute has been started. They have lost me as a customer.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM PPL TILE!!! I feel bad for everybody that lost a lot of money to this bum Roman Klebanov. I was lucky that I only ordered a few hundred dollars worth of tile. Most of it arrived broken, and when I called this guy back, he basically just said I have to deal with the trucking company that delivered it and he hung up on me. The trucking company only refunded half the money of the broken tile, and it's not really worth my time to try to track this guy down and drag him into court for $200.

He runs several other PPL websites (PPLVanites.com, PPLFurniture.com, PPLLingerie.com, PPLFishing.com). On the PPLLingerie site, the moron actually lists his home address as the company address (5104 Kelly Rd, Warrington PA, 18976). If you put the address in Google Maps and zoom in, you'll see it's a nice big house in a nice area. Ripping people off pays well I guess. If anyone wants to try to take this guy to court, I hope this information helps you out.

I had to file a dispute and the credit card company gave me back my $1500. I still have the tile incorrect tile sitting here. Roman promised a swap, but it never came. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau.

My personal experience with ppltile.com was definitely 5 stars. I have put the tiles in a shower room and utility room. Couldn't be more pleased, they look and feel great. Walls and Floors were the cheapest I could find and their service was excellent, even down to the driver who delivered. Definitely recommend.

Anjelatitchen is obviously a plant just like Flinky said. I don't mind saying that Roman has messed with the wrong person this time. If my money is not refunded tomorrow I will make it my life's mission to ruin this jerk! Roman is a dishonest crook and downright sleeze bag who needs to be kneecapped! I'm serious, I will be reporting this to everyone from the IRS to the BBB if this jerk doesn't refund my money tomorrow. I'm even looking into who hosts his webpage to file a complaint here and with Visa, MC, Amex, and whoever else I need to. It's not about the money, it's about the pricipal of this scumbag taking advantage of hardworking American's! Roman will surely be paid a visit if my money is not returned tomorrow. Be afraid Roman, be very afraid! It's a small world I assure you.

1-323-999-5128 is Roman's number. Just East of Santa Monica California for anyone that wants to pay this scam artist a visit and put the fear of God in him!

Roman's so called accounting dept. E-mailed me today after I sent a nasty E-mail to them. They supposedly issued a refund via their online service INTUIT. I shall keep you all posted. Regardless of the refund, I can not understand nor believe how they conduct business. Rather than lie ad nauseum why not just say you don;t have the product, or extend the lead times? In my case we were matching an existing tile for an owner who sadly is in a wheelchair so I was attempting to save them some grief and some money on the remodel. We all would gladly have waited were we to know the truth. It all just boggles my mind. One of the those rare instances in life when someone was going to go postal on Roman.

We were getting our parents old home ready to put on the market and ordered a variety of tiles from www.ppltile.com. We were so impressed with the customer and prompt shipping. We could not be happier. The new flooring looks excellent. We have already recommended them to several of our friends.

"dustimitri" is obviously a plant. However, I shall update my review.
PPL Tile never delivered and obviously lied about the tile being shipped.
    Roman stopped returning calls alltogether.
After what they obviously took seriously (my reviews) I was contacted by "Steve" from PPL.
Steve is located at 5104 Kelly Road, Warrington, PA 18976.
Steve offered to fully refund the money which they did, twice!
I being the honest and reputable businessman I am returned the overage (today via US Mail) minus $50 for my inconvenience to say the least (my job has been delayed weeks).
For whatever reason Roman (obviously a broker) is in Calafornia and Steve (Owner?) is in PA.
Steve did the right thing and returned the money which is all I can say for him and he did so in the time frame by which he stated he would.
However.......... (long pause), PPL is not a reputable company if it has liars such as Roman on staff representing them.
This being said, draw your own conclusions from the aforementioned reviews and good luck!

Although I am not a business person, I also do not understand how PPL stays in business. I understand WHY...they are obviously making money on the use of other people's money. But HOW is this legal? I submitted complaints to the Departments of Justice in CA and PA. In CA, they replied that they would keep the info on file for a potential future class action suit brought by the state. Otherwise, no action. Still waiting to hear from PA. I would have thought there was some oversight of internet fraud, but apparently not.

Thank you all very much! I have $1400 tile in my PPL Tile cart ... I was just about to buy them. I had been told the tile was discontinued but then found it on the PPL website and was excited. When looking for a discount code, I found your discussion string. You all just saved me time and money and sleepless nights. I would not consider ordering from PPL after reading this comment string. Thank you all again for sharing your experiences to save people like me.

I had seen some of the good and bad reviews for PPLTile, but I decided to give them a chance knowing if they did not deliver, my CC would refund my money so I would not really lose any sleep over it. I did also post my review on gardenweb. I got my tile(it was delayed two weeks) and I will say I am happy. I can't speak for the people who had issues, I can only provide my review. Here is a picture of it as I went with a 48" long Sant Dagostino tile which I was able to find locally for $10 and got from PPL for $5.65. So for me it was worth the risk. You can also see the install on my installers website/blog Ceramictec in case anyone thinks I am Roman. Also my facebook picture would probably discount that too :)

This is a website only. One guy in PA handling the orders. You call the toll free number and get a recording. Roman Klebanov calls you back and the caller id shows a Los Angeles number. He is not in CA, but in PA (home address is on the website). He works out of his home with a laptop computer. They have a virtual office set up in Allentown, PA under the name EXTTILE. They have no inventory, but search to find what they need after you order. Sometimes they are lucky and can fulfill, but it will take up to months to receive with many excuses along the way. Take a look at www.paulklebanov.com to see this and other companies he has created. You can take a chance with them if you are willing to wait. You will not lose your money, but you may lose the use of it for a long time before getting it back if they have no luck in finding what you need.

PPL never delivered the tile I ordered, claiming breakage in shipping, and caused many months of delays. Although they refunded my money in the end, this "company" had a major negative impact on my new house construction. Do a search and you will find MANY of the same complaints. In my opinion, this is not a legitimate business.

Wish I'd read these reviews first. Ordered tile 2 weeks ago through Roman and everyday have been calling and leaving messages asking for a tracking number since we don't live where the tile is to be delivered and need to make arrangements. No one ever answers or has called back even when the messages have gotten rather terse. Same with emails. Fortunately, our credit card wasn't charged. Sent another email saying we were canceling the order. But now we have to worry that this shyster has our cc number. Funny that the website says "you will never be put on hold".....what? I would not use this company.

DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF THIS THIEF! We paid $7000 for tile that never ever arrived. I am filing criminal complaints against this internet fraudulent company. We were given the same BS about our order being stuck in another state. Invoice was even provided but fake. Whole website is FAKE!!

I ordered tile from PPL through Roman AKA "Peggy".... I was charged upfront a lot, I ordered from them because they had advertise and I was told they carried the tile I wanted. I was told my tile was derailed/then upon further time and dissapointment......several months later I was told my inventory came but majority of it was broke because it was damaged on the way (????). I had no trouble getting my money credited back but after seeing others experience the same claims I experienced I feel a moral obligation to state "somethings not right"/avoid this so-called business!!!!!!
