I'm getting a bumper crop of strawberries this year but they're too tart to eat plain. I eat lemons, limes and calamondins plain, so these are some tart berries! Some are in peat moss (acid), some are in clay under mature pine (humus layer over clay), and some are in plain clay so I don't think pH is the issue. Any tips on how to get sweeter berries on the plant would be appreciated. They are ok with chocolate :)
