I have some Verbena bonariensis left-- not too many, but enough to get you started. In my garden this plant was a prolific self-seeder.

I've found it best to winter sow these-- or put them on a bright windowsill in an unheated room so they get fluctuating night and day temperatures.

It's a tall bee magnet that looks nice with Cleome or something similar with a flower shape that contrasts with the Verbena umbels.

Bev, thanks for the info and the link. I'll have to order from them as a tragic husband-associated accident (jk) ruined all my seed packets at turkey soup making time at Christmas. My cleome selfseeds like crazy so after looking at your gorgeous picture I plan to plant them together and keep my fingers crossed in subsequent summers. Hopefully it will smell better than cleome (the biggest stinker in my garden, but it looks lovely!) I first saw Vb in a public garden in Westmount QC ... they are gorgeous!!!
