We want to plant some raspberry plants by our fence. But we don't want to give our neighbor headache with raspberries invading their yard. So two questions:

1. How deep should the root barrier be to stop the raspberry from spreading?

2. Just how much spreading out will three plants do? Enough to make the root barrier worth while?
