Hi Doris..I have native evergreen huckleberry bushes as well as non-native blueberry and currant bushes and the birds love them all. Actually I almost never get a good cup of blueberries or currants from those bushes as the birds love them so much. Thankfully..I have so many huckleberry bushes that there are enough of those berries for both birds and me. *G* I know the knowledgeable people here will have many more ideas so I will be watching your post with interest too. *G*

Doris - How about serviceberry trees? Don't know if you have any, I can't remember from when I was at your place. But... birds devour the berries, and the trees get an amazing burnt-orange fall color.

Just a thought... I don't have any extras but someone else here might.
