Make sure to CONTAIN the artemesia!!!! I made the mistake of planting only two in the ground. Three years later, I am still pulling them out!! They spread by roots and when you pull out the plants (even by the roots) there is ALWAY some portion of the root that does not come out -ie. more material for spreading.
Having said that, they do look good in a container with purple stuff.

Susan, I'd imagine you could grow the rhubarb in a large pot, the roots don't go very deep about a foot so something like a half barrel would be perfect.
