TreePalm. I am coming to the exchange and was wondering about the false lily of the valley. Is it invasive? I am interested in woodland plants. I am putting in new gardens and don't have anything to trade this year but I can bring cholcolate!!!

Welcome to gardenweb! False lily of the valley is a native. It does spread by root runners, but it doesn't make a thick matt, so it doesn't kill the things around it. I wouldn't call it invasive. My defination of invasive/garden thug is if it spreads 3' or more in the first year and chokes out other plants, or seeds everywhere. Thanks for putting up what kind of plants you are looking for. I'll dig a few things with that in mind.

Thank you Teresa. I have not been on garden web for quite awhile but was a frequent poster on cottage gardens a few years back. Since then we moved to Kalama and am starting all over again with a clean slate. A little overwhelming with the berry vines and rocky soil but I am determined to get her done one way or another.
