You did a beautiful job!

Our wedding anniversary is also on the 14th of August!!!
We were married in 1982. It will be 24 years this summer for my DH and I.

We love our 6 month anniversary date also...Feb. 14...valentine's day! Do you and your wife celebrate then too?

August 14th, 1982, I was a maid of honour for my best friend. It only lasted, unfortunately, five years but gave me a beautiful, charming god daughter that I love dearly. Fun wedding, though. I also was my best friend's matron of honour at her second wedding. Funny though, I don't remember the date of it. That one didn't make it, either. I think she's now given up.

Thank you for the nice comments on my clock.

Actually the clock is not that hard to make. I followed a pattern which is glued to the wood then removed later. The cutting probably took about 10-12 hours, although I am not sure as I worked on it in my spare time. With wood prearation, assembly and finishing about another 5-6 hours it probably took about 18 hours to build ths clock. I get the patterns from a company in the U.S. and am including their web site for you to look at.
