What sort of themes were you thinking of?

Sounds like a great idea Sierra... I'm just embarassed to post my pics when yours are so nice... sob... just kidding.

Maybe we could do something like frost patterns or snow drift shapes... is that what you were thinking of? Or vacations?

Sounds like a creative challenge, or maybe a good excuse to go through 'old' photos! This could be very interesting!

Hmmm. The drift shapes i could come up with just on our porch roof! How about winter birds? Maybe, just maybe, i'll get a good shot of a blue jay this year! LOL

Drift shapes and winter birds are great ideas. I wonder if I would be able to get any pics of birds in the winter....we don't have many that stick around.....maybe some chickadees.....Another idea could be pics of our gardens in winter?

Any ideas for a topic we can start now? In another place the photo theme is emotion......now that is a tough topic.

How about sky and/or weather pictures?

Maybe before freeze-up it would be fun to have a water theme - sort of as a goodbye to liquid water? Sierra's pic last week of the leaves in the water was nice...

Okay I will start the first thread with the theme....I will start with water...because we will have to do that one right away.....then the second one will be sky and/or weather pictures. So you get a sneek preview for the second topic.

Well, i'll have to go out and visit the beaver pond with my camera soon. I do have some of the lake this summer, and even some good cloud pictures.

As for weather, some of us could win prizes with thermometre shots from last winter! LOL
