I buy my organic compost from Squak Mountain Nursery in Issaquah. It is organic and made from mostly leaves and grass.

You can also get some natural horse manure - there is a horse farm in Fall City called the natural horseman where you can bring your own shovel and take from their pile which is about 9 months old. Also you can get coffee grounds from Starbucks.

You can get lots of free leaves from yard crews doing cleanups this time of year. Just ask them to dump at your place. They have to pay a tipping fee otherwise. I got 6 tons this year.

Horse people love to give away their manure. U-haul.

Lots of outfits sell finished compost. If you pick up it's much cheaper to haul it yourself.

Cedar Grove is one outfit in the area.
