OK, I know that I am thinking ahead but does anyone know when they start having end of season clearance sales? Which mail order nurseries typically have sales? I have a new bed that I want to put in this fall and I don't want to miss out.

I only took advantage of a few Fall sales last year from Patron Gardens and Rollingwood (Salter). Maryott's also did a special with a free cultivar given with orders placed, and changed the freebie every few weeks. I think I ordered in August.

Flynns daylilys has a spring sale (not to be confused with the sale which is for "walk in" only).

They have excellent prices and Ida sends huge fans.

Ed, I did get my plants from Rollingwood last Fall (FESTIVE FALL, PREMIER SURPRISE, FOR ANNABELLE, ROMAN RENAISSANCE and ROBERT LEE BATT). No blooms yet, but the plants looked to be in good shape when they arrived.

Are there still problems with people getting their plants? Hope you're not one of them.
