My favorite is coffee grounds. They break up in no time and heat up the pile nicely.

Leaves, grass clippings and kitchen scraps.

Bags of stuff from the juice bar at Wild Oats. Mostly carrot and other fruit/veggie pulp. I like to get a bag ever week-10 days in the summer.

I never seem to have much in the way of "browns" for my pile, so sometimes I'll run newspaper thru the shredder at work to layer with the pulp.

Works a treat!

My bunnies droppings that are eaten up by the worm beds underneath their cages along with lot's of kitchen and garden scraps, moldy hay, leaves, weeds.
