storing seeds

Hi everyone, I was recently told by a lady who works at a greenhouse that storing seeds in the fridge is too cold. I was wondering if anyone else has heard this. Most of my seeds are stored in the basement in a rubbermaid container simply cause there never seems to be enough room in my fridge. And the fact that I have way too many seeds. However we recently inherited a beer/cow/horse drug fridge for the shop and I was wondering if that would make a huge difference. I have not had too many problems with germination of saved seeds ( I have had some pkgs for years) Any thoughts? Cheryl
