I have my cuttings growing in a small spare room that I also grow orchids in. I have a small humidifier that keeps the humidity at about 60%- 65%. This seems to work for me. Forced hot air heat dries everything out in no time.

I guess that I have to FIGure out some means (preferably
an automatic way) to control the humidity in my GH.
Funny, that I never experienced such a drastic wilting
effect with other plants. May be that is the reason
I have such a dismal success with orchids, though.
The wilting that I reported yesterday, was mainly with
new fig plants (and maybe related pomegranate) that
had extensive new green TENDER growth.

My guess of what happened, is the inverse of 'dew point'.
Temperature and humidity are very related. You start with
cold air, heat it up (in yesterday's case the bright
sunshine had something to do with it), and RH goes
way, way down.
I also 'raise' fig cuttings in my basement. I am in CONSTANT
conflict with my wife about the (mis)use of a DE-humidifier
there. She wants to dry some fine clothes that normally
will not go inside a laundry drier.
Guess I'll have to at minimum install a hygrometer
instrument to convince her not to...

George, I wasn't aware that you had your plants in a GH. Even with the temp change I wouldn't think the humidity would change that much that quickly. Good luck on trying to convince the Mrs.
