When did you go to putting your rooted cuttings into cups of potting mix? I saw an older video where you used mostly perlite; have you abandoned that practice in favor of this method. Do you get better growth and easier up-pots with this mix?

cis4elk, I started last year. I hated having to transition from the perlite and vermiculite. I use a sifted pine bark with soil mix and perlite. I used that mix on all my cuttings last year and hardly disturbed the roots at all when I up potted the cuttings. They had very strong roots.

Is this the same mix you use for your trees(grown-up)? Or do you slightly change ratios of material?

I use the retail store bought organic garden soil and I mix in perlite. I also fertilize my the method described on the figtrees.net website.
