I believe that it's Lily of the Valley. I went for a walk just a bit ago and noticed there were also some growing along the fence in the front of my neighbor's house and one had blooms on it. I am so happy that I didn't mow them down now! Are they a cottage flower or no?

I have quite a patch of pink Lily of the Valley, they are spreaders though. I love their scent and yes, if you don't mind their spreading ways they fit right in a cottage garden.

I am in North Dakota in zone 3. I was wondering if they were scented flowers as this is my first experience with them. I don't mind spreading at all so that's not a problem. They are all over the neighbor's backyard so I don't think I could contain them to her yard if I wanted to, lol.

Oh man be careful with those - they spread all over the place. You'll have lots to give to friends!
