do you have a yard that you can plant it in ground? that would be the single most effective way.

if not. you didn't say how big or small of a tree you have and what size pot it is growing in right now. but i would go a few sizes larger on the pot. use a well draining soil mix, you don't want your fig's roots to rot. the mix should be ready to be watered again in about 4-5 days.

the worm and bat poop you can apply a little every 3 or 4 months.

figs are fairly drought tolerant, but if you want fruit production, then you don't want the soil to dry out. water then wait a few days and check the soil's moisture. if still moist, wait a few more days, if its a bit dry, water.
