Carex pendula

I'm pretty sure Carex pendula was mentioned in another thread long ago and someone was growing it or trying it for the first time or..., perhaps Lori?

I'm looking for success stories here. Bluestem says zone 2. Everywhere else says zone 5. Normally I'd just dive right in and order anyway but the only option is a flat of 25 plugs for $45. I've been drooling over this grass for a few years and I've got just the spot for a mass planting. Expensive test though, if they've got no chance for survival. Jim @ Bluestem is usually pretty conservative with his zone ratings, maybe I'll email them to make sure.

Anyone?
