Tail Feathers Dragging

I have spent at least 30 hours working in the garden this week. The big pile of mulch has shrunk some one wagonful at a time.

The daylilies pouted at the cool temps, but I have a few to share:

Romanian Rendezvous didn't notice a chill...FFO on this:

Impressionistic is a delicate soft yellow:

Purple Breasted Honeycreeper came in threes today (note Ashville Belle Chere in backgound, not opening well)

And this trio was lovely:

And I really was taken with Azure Butterfly:

That eye is purple! No red, but purple...at my house. Wow!

And the silly Endless Summer hydrangea is doing its bloom thing.

I am exhausted too. The weather here was wonderful today and I worked outside most all day. I like your Azure Butterfly and the Purple Breasted Honeycreeper. Both are very pretty. Sarah

Kay, the pink trio is my favorite today. I am not surprised you are working your tail off in the garden because that is what you seem to do LOL! But your hard work shows, your garden is a stunner.

I am out planting myself most of the day. Spring is a busy time. Always lots and lots to do.

Well, you are getting things done. I haven't done a thing today, just sat down here a few minutes ago when I should be outside. Such nice cool weather I should be taking advantage of. Instead, I'm checking out all your gorgeous photos!
I'm torn between several-Purple Breasted Honeycreeper, Azure Butterfly, & that trio of pinks. Hard to leave out Romantic r & Impressionistic, they look really good too. My hydrangea isn't blooming yet, but it does have buds. I wasn't sure if the frost got it or not, but apparently it is going to bloom. Doesn't look like it's going to be as nice as yours though.

Purple Breasted Honeycreeper is stunning.

Sounds like you have been working (playing?) hard in the garden. Fresh air, sunshine, exercise, it will all keep you young and healthy.
