Wow, that's amazing and it's only March, I wonder if you guys are in for another very hot and prolonged summer like last year, here it certainly wasn't anywhere near as warm!

After such a very mild winter here also, the last while hasn't been so "hot" and the next few days are calling for highs just above 0 C ... oh, well, just as long as April ushers in real spring and gets the ball rolling here also, I'm sure hoping for that!

Spoke to my brother in eastern Ontario and he said the crocus are in full bloom there, after a week of highs well into the 20's. Crazy!

There are crocuses blooming in the raised beds in front of our school - full sun, south facing. Some of mine are up but not blooming. Buds are also swelling on a few shrubs and trees, and there's plenty of green in the flower beds. After this next spate of cooler weather, i'm going to rake back the mulch in some places - but will replace it if reality sets in again!
