perennial ordemental grasses

Hi I need help locating seeds for ordemental grasses for my zone. I have some plants in the gardens but would like more. Does anyone know of/have used any cataogues or sites that they have been happy with their seeds? I would like to do winter sowing of them if possible next year.Thanks

Hi Lois,

I have ordered from Alberta Nursuries (Bowden) in the past and this year. They have 3 mixed packets or ornamental grasses. I guess I should have checked to see if they are perennial. Ooops......Also, I have bought seed from Bedrock Environmental Seed here in Alberta. They carry all kinds of native grasses and flowers. Links below. :)

So far, i just have Karl Forester that comes back each year. Gale has a few, though, Lois - not sure which ones. (Oh, i'm supposed to email you, eh? Forgot! Will do!)

Thanks will have to check on them. I have Karl Forester(10). Tuffed hair grass, Blue oats,Brome skinner's gold,Elijah blue fescue,Woodrush and Avalanche
