How is the pipe finished through counter top.

    it is a bronze sleeve over a copper vent. Fortunately the unit below was recently remodeled and we were able to remove the pipe, and the owner saved the plug from the counter.

    How did you get the sleeve made? A metal smith? Also, how did the pipe finish into the counter? Was there a ring, or was the counter cut to accomodate it? Thanks!
