Did you plant it last year? If so, don't worry.

I had some from Vesey's as a bonus offer a few years ago. I really didn't expect much at the time because the package said zone 5. But these little blue flowers have come back every year for the last 4 years even after a hard winter... and without any mulch or special treatment.

They don't seem to be filling in or diminishing so I think they are barely tolerating the conditions... But they do come back every year... they usually come up right through the very last of the snow and I've never protected them from frost.

Hi Andrew, I guess I'll have to attempt to give these spring anemones a try :). I only grow the late summer/autumn types, though most all of these bloom too late and are nipped by the frost ... though, I do have one rather reliable variety that usually puts on a good show and is a real favorite!
