That is an impressive list. I would be interested in ginger or any sort of banana. I planned to buy both this spring. You have a lot of plants I dont know about at all. I do not have a lot to choose from but I do have extras of many of the seeds I ordered this year. I also have a few seedlings that I planted extras of.

You can see my exchange list for a more complete list. I am sure I wonÂt remember off the top of my head.

I have bromeliads but I donÂt know what kind they are. A guy down the road gave me piles and piles of solid green ones. He has even more and he is selling all his plants so he said I could have all I want. They are growing like weeds in his yard. I bought what I could and he gave me bunches more. I told him about this Forum and told him he should post here. He has some rather rare plants and I hate to see him taken advantage of.

He gave me the most gorgeous ginger. It has pale pink/salmon colored flowers that almost look like small orchids. I donÂt think I want to give that one up but I could buy another for a trade. He says everything in the big beds has to go. He is only keeping his border plants.

He also gave me what he calls a "Butterfly Tree" but I saw it listed as a "Pagoda Tree" at a nursery. I couldnÂt afford it at the nursery but he has dozens and gave me some sprouts. I have never seen so many butterflies in my life! There were at least 50 of them! I could bring one of the sprouts he gave me.

    Seavee,

I would love some Bromiliads and some 4 O'clocks if they are fragrant. I would be glad to bring you some ginger and banana.

Oh, I would so love that Pink Dombeya. Are you interested in one of my gingers? I'm bringing some Daniel Weeks (Butterfly ginger) that is just wonderful.

    Ambersky,

The pink Dombeya is yours. I would love some Daniel weeks ginger!

I don't know if they are fragrant. My yellow ones are. My seedlings that are variegated I canÂt say yet. The ones I had at my grandparentÂs house were but these came from purchased seed. The pink ones have no scent that I have noticed. I will bring a few of each and you can have all you want. I have more than I could possibly plant. I didnÂt think I would have any luck with seeds. Boy was I wrong!

I will bring some of those Bromeliads as well.

    Hi folks,

I know Cynthia and Carl, me and Mary Beth (wife) will be attending the swap UNLESS it is storming real bad.

Between the 4 of us, we WILL be bringing stuff.

Amber, Did you still want the Stemmadenia?

Is there anything else ANYONE would like on my list that I can bring Saturday?
As long as I have enough I don't need a trade, I just need to clear some things out and make room for new plants :) Don't be shy!

I am assuming 10am is OK with everyone since I have not heard other wise.

I know I am forgetting something so I am sure I will post again later.

    Yes, indeed I do!
What was it you wanted in return for it?

I am so sorry. I am going to hate this. I was so excited but something has come up and I can't go Saturday. It's one of those things I just cant do anything about.

Ariel: I could mail you seeds to any of the 4-o'clocks you want. They grow very fast and I have lots. I don't know if the Bromiliads would ship. I have never shipped plants before.

This evening I am going to go dig up some of the plants.

But I don't want to dig up any of the bananas if no one wants them. I am more than happy to share , just speak up and I will bring them tomorrow.

I have a few nanas to bring as well. Everyone should have at least one!

If you can spare a Mysore and a Dwarf Lady Finger, I will try to give them a good home!

    See you tomorrow around 10am.

    Anyone else goin?

Seavee, I'm really sorry that you can't make it. Maybe you can ride down to Cape Coral for Lady's trade, in October?

Ariel, I have bananas every where I can put a banana...but you tempt me.

Amber, I would love some Varigated Shampoo Ginger and some fragrant 4 oclocks if you have some.
I'll bring you a banana just in case ;-)
