Neither, mine go in the compost pile ;^)

Try it in the shade or semi-shade, as an annual. I stick all sorts of extra houseplants out in the shade, they do really well. Last year I had spider plants (couldn't get rid of the aphids) and wandering jew. This year I have more spiders and wandering jew, monstera which was taking over the living room, and pothos.
