The pictures are beautiful but the list was very interesting too. The first hardy geranium to bloom for us this year was G.viscossisimum. I started it from seed last year after seeing it blooming a the Devonian gardens the first of August when most other cranesbills are past. Even if it is early it is a wonderfull additon to the garden, covered with soft pink 1-1/2"blooms for tw weeks now.

That is a good site Sharon, nice pics of hardy plants. Their Geum triflorum is not even as nice as yours, there's just more of it. :0)

Hi Leo, the geraniums you gave me are just about to bloom too. Just the larger divisions. The seedlings don't have any buds but they are all doing very well. How is your Harison's Yellow? I hope it's ok! I've been worried that it would wilt or die because it was so hard to dig up.

Leo, after many attemps, I finally have a ws'd G.viscossisimum seedling this year! I can't wait to see it bloom next year ;)

I'm going to have to remind myself to keep watch on what's blooming at Devonian gardens, for sure they have some interesting species growing there that will be going on my wish list.
