yellow foliage on daylilies

On a few of my daylilies coming up this spring I notice that the foliage is yellowish with green veining. Is this most likely iron chlorosis? I've had a few plants here and there that have done that since I planted my garden. Or could it just need to be fertilized? I'm guessing it's the iron, because none of my other daylilies seem to "need" to get fertilized; they just grow better if I do. I hate my stupid alkaline soil.
