Sure, I'll name that fig....I'd call it yummy!! Seriously it could be one of many white figs with strawberry flesh. Maybe Genoa? Will it grow in your area....10b is going to be a great place for just about any fig. Go for it!

Seems similar to Adriatic. However there are several figs that are similar to it. To narrow down your search, where did you get the picture from?

well im growing brown turkey figs, i just bought a Violette De Bordeaux, i want a green fig that has superior flavor, preferably with a pretty flesh like in the picture, three fig trees should make a nice hedge for my side yard fence.

any suggestions on varieties and mail order places?

Sometimes the fruit does shallow-split at the eye. It is
OK for here (moist) NE, but I am not sure how it behaves

no i do not have a green fig tree, which is why i was interested in how they grow down here.

i grow alot of exotic fruits down here and they look pretty wild.

OK, I'll make a stab at this one. Looking at the fig size in relation to the plate it is on, it looks like a small, maybe small/medium fig relatively speaking. Adriatic?...could be!
Green Ischia is my personal guess.
