I want to replace my John Davis rose that rotted on me a couple years ago. It is and was my all time favorite pink. I got a Jens Munk rose a few weeks ago to replace a Persian Gold rose that didnt make it. The Jens M. is sitting in the green house where is is under the impression it gets to live in zone 8...haha..soon enough it will find out why a bought a zone 2 rose.
Sierra and I went nursery shopping yesterday. She had lots of restraint and bought an iris. I on the other hand got a Raspberry Sundae peony, a larch, cutleaf golden elder and an arctic wolf willow. On the way home we stopped at wal-mart and I picked up 3 more hostas to put in an area I am making a hosta bed.
The Fairy is a rose I have looked at several times and loved.Let us know how is it doing for you. It is a perfectly named rose for your little prinesses garden..Jean

A few years ago, i had a Persian but it didn't last the winter. Maybe i'll put Miss Sunrise in its spot. The Fairy is rated zone 4, so i'll try to give it some protection this fall. It sounds like it grows to be a fair size, too, which will be nice. Fingers crossed that it survives!
