Great pix Konrad. How long did it take to get to that size? Have you ever tried the Hardy Mac? I got one and just wondering if it is really as hardy as they say?

It started to bloom in about 7 or 8 years of age.
I'm not sure which Mac you have, I have one which fruited first time last
year, ...it didn't ripen on the tree. There seem to be a few Macs growing
in the Edmonton area but I don't know what is what..there is also a Fort
Mac Murry Mac.

My Mac is just called Hardy Mac. I tried to get pic of my bees on the lilacs but my camera just isn't that good and probably neither am I. Hope to upgrade some day if I live long enuff.Looks like a happy bee just aflitting about doing her job.

I guess time will tell if your Mac is up to snuff!

It's beautiful! the tree we have is 'just' a light pink/white. :(

The waxwings are here also, stripping the petals off the blossoms on all my apple trees. I was wondering--will that destroy my apple crop? If so, how do you keep these persistent feeders away?
